Frustrated...........

I am so frustrated right now I could cry...My dr office called a week or so ago said I had date of Aug 20 they needed to do a surgical clearance.

WELL come to find out, I still dont have approval from insurance company!!!!!!!! They requested a new Letter of med nec because the format wasnt right, so my dr did that and now the insurance lady from the surgeon is still sitting on it, hasnt sent it to insurance yet! MY GOD!

I just am so ready to have this surgery and move on, I feel like my whole life is on hold.  I took the summer off work (work in the school district) so that I could wrap things up and be recovered by the time school goes back and now I havent even had the surgery yet......Argghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh


Sorry just needed to vent! Here I sit NOT so patiently on the WAITING bench instead of the LOSERS bench!!!

I had the same issues during my approval chaos...
to get anything done, I literally had to keep calling and every time something was lost, I had to fax and call and re-submit EVERYTHING!!!
I made sure I kept copies of every reciept, every letter, every person I spoke to on the phone...My Dr's office was the worst with the "lost" and slow paprework...
but I stayed with it and from the time I told my dr I wanted WLS to when I was being wheeled into the OR was about three months...
STICK WITH IT!!!

Thank you so very much! I have been playing the jump through hoop game since february and althought they arent that off schedule (was hoping for first week of aug), its frustrating that all this is becasue someone ( or several people) are LAZY!!!

Well off to call the dr AGAIN............
